Arranged?

Are you another victim of the poorly executed system called “Arranged Marriage?” Join the club, you are not alone, tons of pathetic singles who could not, for whatever reason, find a partner on their own, are members of this so called club.

Interpreting the profile:

•       Very Fair= wheatish (The picture attached to the profile is photo shopped, don’t believe it!)
•       Fair= Dark (I don’t know why men lie about their complexion, DARK is GOOD)
•       Wheatish= Extremely dark (Again, don’t trust the picture)

·      Some people write their percentages (how much they scored) beside their educational details, STAY AWAY FROM THIS KIND. 

It annoys me when I read the requirements stated- “Looking for a very good-looking girl who has ‘modern thinking’, has a good job, knows ‘house-hold’ work and wears ‘traditional clothing’ “.  For a minute I thought it’s an Ad for a maid, but no, sadly this guy really wants a girl who wears traditional but thinks modern, has a very good job and is an expert in house keeping too. MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL; he is never getting married.

         Another profile that I came across read “ Girl with a PhD preferred” and right below it “ between 18-22 years of age,” Can somebody enlighten this guy that it takes a minimum of 24 years to get a PhD.

I wonder what goes on in their minds while filling out the so-called ‘marriage-application’. Well it is not termed as ‘marriage-application’ but we might as well call it that, because it really feels like you are applying for a job.

I remember my conversation with one of my project partner’s in MS, She was a brilliant lady from Slovakia, and she said that there is no such a thing called ‘perfect-guy’. There is some amount of compromise that goes into every relationship, very true. It’s not a perfect relationship until you strive and make it one. So my advise to all the lovely ladies who are looking for a ‘perfect guy’ :“Quit your search right now!”

My sympathy to all the singles who are going thru the same pain as I am. If it’s any consolation you are not alone and “There is light at the end of every tunnel” lol!
